Afrobeats superstar Wizkid is gearing up to hit the road for his much-anticipated ‘Morayo’ Tour, marking his first major tour in nearly three years. The Grammy-winning artist has officially announced three arena dates in Europe, with stops in France, the Netherlands, and Germany.
Kicking off on May 21, 2025, Wizkid will take center stage at the 12,000-capacity Velodrome Arena in Berlin, Germany. From there, he will head to Rotterdam, Netherlands, where he will perform at the Ahoy RTM Stage on May 23. The tour’s European leg will conclude in Paris, France, on May 25, where he will headline the iconic 20,000-capacity Accor Arena.
The ‘Morayo’ Tour follows the release of Wizkid’s sixth studio album, Morayo, which dropped in November 2024. The album features a star-studded lineup, including Afrobeats sensation Asake, French hitmaker Tiakola, French-Gabonese singer Anais Cardot, and American R&B heavyweights Jazmine Sullivan and Brent Faiyaz.
Wizkid gave fans a taste of the album during several surprise performances in December 2024, solidifying the project’s impact. His return to touring is expected to generate massive excitement, especially given his history of record-breaking performances—most notably, his three consecutive sold-out nights at London’s O2 Arena.
Beyond the tour, Wizkid is also in the spotlight for the upcoming 67th Grammy Awards, where he is nominated for Best African Music Performance for his contribution to Asake’s ‘MMS’. As anticipation builds for both his tour and potential Grammy win, fans worldwide are eager to witness Wizkid’s return to the global stage.
