The Lagos Free Zone (LFZ) newly built Police Post was today commissioned by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Mr. Hakeem Odumosu.
The Lagos State CP who appreciated all present at the occasion acknowledged that security is the concern of all as the State of the Art Police Post Post facilitated by the Management of the Lekki Free Zone, is expected to serve the communities of Akodo, Okeyeta, Magbon Segun, Okesegun, Itoikin, Idotun and Okunraye.

While appreciating the Sister Security Agencies for their collaborative efforts in tackling crime, he appealed to members of the public to cooperate with the Police, as he affirmed that the new Police Post will give a wider coverage while it will also boost the confidence of residents, business owners and would be investors who plan to ply their trade in the environment. He challenged other Organizations to emulate the good gesture the LFZ has set with an initiative of such magnitude.
The Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki, Hon. (Engr) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa in his remarks applauded the Management of LFZ for an initiative of this nature and assured that the Local Government of Ibeju Lekki and the Lekki LCDA will be partners in progress towards a peaceful and secure Environment.

Mr. Goki on behalf of the Lagos Free Zone (LFZ) gave the vote of thanks and was full of optimism that the security of the communities is totally guaranteed.
Present at the occasion were the Chief of Staff to the Lekki LCDA Chairman, Hon. Taiwo, the Lagos State Police Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Adekunle Ajisebutu, District Police Officer of Akodo Police Station CSP Thomas Orire, Area Commander of Area “J”, ACP Gbolahan, members of security agencies, Traditional Heads and members of the concerned communities.
