It all started as a social media joke or stunt when the story rocks the airwaves that Cuppy did not pay Zlatan for the for their hit song titled ‘Gelato’

We are in the darkness of the gist until Isreal Davido’s Logistics Manager exposed it all via his Instagram status that Cuppy did not pay Zlatan for ‘Gelato’ and despite making billions from her foundation event in Abuja which Zlatan also attended following the success of the song, still did not offer Zlatan a dime.

However, it appears Dj Cuppy other side got triggered by this alleged accusation by IsrealDMW so she responded with a lawsuit, sued IsrealDMW for defamation.
According to DJ Cuppy,
“For the record…
There have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyers… However, as @IsrealDMW publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation…
See you in court Isreal.”
Well, either this case get to see the light of the day in court or not this whole drama is kind of entertaining, I mean Nigeria have been boring for a while ???? ???? ????.
Shockingly, I gathered that this all drama put Davido in an awkward position as his Logistics Manager is being sued for what seems to not be his business and Dj Cuppy Manager ex boyfriend is Davido’s manager so there is some kind of old wound here needed to be healed.

After Cuppy publicly announced on February 1st that she has filed a libel and defamation lawsuit against IsrealDMW then IsrealDMW responded via his Instagram with a question we have all been asking
He said
Have you ever in entire life, giving Zlatan, any kobo? Did he pay for his hotel bill, food at Transcorp Hilton or Not?
