Yemi Alade has sealed a worldwide licensing agreement with Universal Music Africa (UMA) also known as to Universal Music Group West Africa which is an affiliate of Universal Music France (UMF).

UMA partnership Yemi Alade further shows the willingness of the international music company to strengthen her position in West Africa especially in Nigeria which is the home of Africa entertainment. Considering Yemi Alade success in the music industry so far is the first female pop artiste in Africa to hit 100 million views on Youtube and VEVO with her song ‘Johnny’ which is now the most viewed music video from any female pop artiste in Africa. Also, her record of being the first African female artiste with 1 million subscribers on YouTube makes her the perfect match for the deal.
