TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 20TH NOVEMBER 2023

I am glad the story of Samson did not end in shame. His strength came back to him even though he messed up. So also, your strength is coming back to you. How did I know that Samson’s strength came back? The Bible says when the hair began to grow, something happened. The Philistines came for a convention and they brought him, as usual, to come and do sport and comedy for them to humiliate and embarrass him. And the Bible says when he was sure that all were there, he asked the little lad, why am I here? The little lad told him it was a convention, and they have brought you to come and dance for them and entertain them. And he reminded himself, I am not called for entertainment. I am called to do the work of the kingdom.

Samson told the lad to please take him to the pillar, and the lad was happy to take him. And he put his hands on the pillars. That posture with his hands spread across the pillars represents the cross. That means he leveraged the power of the finished work and pulled down the whole convention ground. Eventually, he did more in his death than he had done all through his lifetime.

Child of God, I don’t know what challenges you are facing right now; but get ready to recover all. By the virtue of the finished work on the cross, I prophesy that you are recovering all. It doesn’t matter the grounds you have lost, and it doesn’t matter what the devil has done, they shall be restored. Your strength is coming back. Your hair will grow again.
