President Bola Tinubu has urged state governors and federal ministers to intensify efforts in delivering meaningful governance and improving the lives of Nigerians. The President made the call during an Iftar dinner with government officials at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The Ramadan gathering, attended by key political figures, provided an opportunity for the President to reflect on his administration’s policies and reiterate the need for collective commitment to national development. Tinubu emphasized that government officials must be proactive in addressing economic challenges, improving infrastructure, and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach the grassroots.

“Our people need us to act, not just talk. We must go beyond policies on paper and translate them into tangible results that will make life better for Nigerians. Governors and ministers must ensure that governance is not just about politics but about service to humanity,” Tinubu stated.

The President also addressed concerns about economic hardship, reiterating his administration’s commitment to implementing reforms aimed at stabilizing the economy and tackling inflation. He encouraged leaders at all levels to embrace policies that promote job creation, food security, and infrastructural development.

As Ramadan continues, Tinubu urged public office holders to use the period for self-reflection, emphasizing that leadership comes with the responsibility to serve with sincerity and dedication.
