Over the weekend, American Super Bowl game experience an extraordinary performance by The Weekend.
Watching the video from here in Nigeria got me thinking how exciting it would be to be at the Super Bowl Halftime Show live.
The Super Bowl Halftime Show sponsored by Pepsi which took place at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday will probably be one the best time of Abel’s career.
Is it the almost 80% elevated platform from high up the bleachers away from pretty much everyone below and completed with makeshift cityscape made in the fashion of Las Vegas or the bunch of would-be clones that surrounded him, changing costumes throughout the performance but started with masks and glowing red eyes? Trust me when I say The Weekend Rocks The Super Bowl Pepsi Halftime Show!!!

The Weekend had on his signature red blazer, black gloves and MJ-esque shoes. He performed some of his hit songs which includes ‘Starboy’, The Hills’ and ‘Can’t Feel My Face.’ Then came the surprise, a mirrors type of set, reminiscent of his ‘Blinding Lights’ music video which he ran into.
Then TW continued to sing the snippets of ‘I Feel It Coming,’ ‘Save Your Tears,’ and ‘Earned It’ which sparked up the party mode.
Then we have Abel lookalikes, all scattered all over Raymond James Stadium field with their faces bandaged with the OG and The Weekend joined them as they performed a choreographed dance routine.
Now my best part of the event, suddenly, TW led them into a March downfield and went on to sing ‘Blinding Light,’ and above the stadium was amazing fireworks complimenting the performance and the TW clones started running around him in elaborate circles before falling to the ground and lying still while The Weekend was left standing alone in the middle
