Singer Teni has stirred social media conversation after posting a playful video reacting to the ongoing tensions between music legend 2Baba and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, following a dramatic livestream that exposed private disagreements in their home.
The controversy escalated earlier in the week when 2Baba’s former managers, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, appeared on a livestream hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze. During the session, the pair claimed Natasha had been trying to assert heavy control over the singer’s finances and career decisions, a claim that quickly drew public attention.
The drama took a sharper turn when 2Baba unexpectedly joined the livestream mid-conversation. He cautioned his former managers to stop commenting on his family matters, and moments after he appeared, heated arguments between him and Natasha could be heard in the background. The exchange grew tense enough that the livestream abruptly ended, leaving viewers speculating about the state of the couple’s relationship.

Teni, responding to the viral clip, leaned into humour rather than criticism. In a video shared on X, she called on fellow stars, Timaya, Kcee, and anyone “with a fast ride”, to assemble for what she jokingly called a rescue mission. She listed imaginary transportation options, from jets to boats, as if coordinating an emergency response.
“We need to pick up 2Baba immediately,” she said in the clip. “If you have a fighter jet, bring it. Timaya, that Porsche of yours, get it ready. Kcee, bring your Cadillac. Anything you have, we’ll use it.”
2Baba Declares Love for Honourable Natasha, Expresses Intentions to Marry Edo Lawmaker
Her exaggerated tone sparked amusement online. In the middle of her joke, she mistakenly described Natasha as 2Baba’s “husband” before quickly correcting herself and continuing the playful banter. She added that the “Avengers” would join her imaginary mission and told 2Baba to “run anytime you hear speed.”
Despite the humour, Teni also hinted at the uncertainty surrounding the couple’s situation, saying nobody fully understands what is going on or where 2Baba might be at the moment.

Meanwhile, Hyacinth Idibia, 2Baba’s brother, publicly urged the singer to accept support from those close to him. For his part, 2Baba has asked fans and the general public not to magnify the issue, warning that online attention could put Natasha at greater risk.
In a related development, the Edo House of Assembly has summoned Natasha, who represents the Egor constituency, to appear before its ethics and privileges committee following her recent behaviour that went viral during the saga.
