Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) unit commander William Manga confirmed the incident, which occurred at approximately 11:10 p.m. at Sawmill Bus Stop, Ibereko.
According to Manga, the commercial bus lost control while attempting a U-turn, resulting in a head-on collision with the Camry. “Twenty-four individuals were involved in the accident, with four men and three women sustaining injuries,” he stated.
The injured were transported to Care General Hospital in Badagry for treatment. The FRSC attributed the accident to reckless driving and urged motorists to adhere to traffic regulations to prevent further incidents.
