American singer and actress Selena Gomez has officially tied the knot with music producer Benny Blanco in what is already being called one of the biggest celebrity weddings of 2025. The intimate yet star-studded ceremony took place on Saturday in Santa Barbara County’s Hope Ranch, California, a serene coastal location about 90 miles northwest of Los Angeles, and brought together some of the biggest names in music and entertainment.
The 33-year-old Only Murders in the Building star broke the news herself, posting a slideshow of photos and videos from the special day on Instagram. Dressed in an elegant Ralph Lauren wedding gown, Gomez looked radiant as she exchanged vows with Blanco, whose real name is Benjamin Joseph Levin, who opted for a classic black tuxedo. The series of posts was captioned simply “9.27.25” flanked by two white heart emojis, while Blanco left a heartfelt comment that read: “my wife in real life.”

A Guest List Filled With Music and Hollywood Royalty
The wedding drew 170 guests, including some of the couple’s closest friends and collaborators. Taylor Swift, Gomez’s longtime best friend, was in attendance and reportedly gave a touching speech about their friendship and Gomez’s journey to finding love. British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, socialite Paris Hilton, and Gomez’s Only Murders co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short were also spotted at the event.
Vogue Magazine, which first reported details of the ceremony, revealed that Gomez and Blanco opted for a minimalist yet romantic aesthetic, with pastel floral arrangements, open-air seating, and live acoustic performances throughout the night. The couple’s first dance was said to have been to an acoustic version of “Same Old Love”, one of Gomez’s hits co-produced by Blanco, in a nod to how their professional collaboration blossomed into romance.

The celebration reportedly ended with a fireworks display over the Pacific Ocean and a late-night afterparty where guests danced under string lights until the early hours.
From Hitmakers to Husband and Wife
Gomez and Blanco first went public with their relationship in December 2023 after months of fan speculation. The pair became engaged in late 2024, confirming the news during a red-carpet appearance at the Grammys. Blanco, 37, has worked behind the scenes on some of Gomez’s biggest hits, including 2015 singles Same Old Love and Kill Em With Kindness. Earlier this year, the couple released their first joint album, I Said I Love You First, which debuted to critical acclaim and topped global streaming charts.
Their relationship has been praised by fans as Gomez’s “happiest era,” with the singer often sharing glimpses of their romance on social media. In May, she tweeted a playful message promoting their collaborative music video, writing: “I said I love you first… and you said it back.”
For Gomez, this marriage marks a new chapter after years of balancing a high-profile career, health challenges, and public relationships that have often been subject to intense scrutiny. Friends close to the star have said the wedding represents a moment of peace and stability for the singer, who has spoken openly about prioritizing her mental health and finding genuine connections.

Blanco, for his part, expressed excitement about building a future with Gomez and continuing to create music together. “This is just the beginning,” he told Vogue in an exclusive quote, hinting that the couple may collaborate on a second album.
With the wedding behind them, Gomez is expected to resume filming the next season of Only Murders in the Building, while Blanco is currently working on producing tracks for several top-charting artists. Fans, however, will be keeping an eye out for the couple’s honeymoon destination, which remains a closely guarded secret.
