Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has expressed deep relief and gratitude as her long-separated parents finally settled their differences after years of tension.
The movie star, known for her emotional openness, shared the news in a heartfelt Facebook post on Thursday, saying the reunion was one of the most meaningful moments of her life.
According to her, both parents had been at odds for years but decided to put their differences aside in pursuit of peace within the family. She described their reconciliation as “a miracle” she had hoped for over a long time.
Daniels revealed that her parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her younger brother, Sammy, who has allegedly been detained for some time. While she didn’t share details of his case, she hinted that the situation had weighed heavily on the family.
“Sammy’s detention has lasted longer than expected, but we’re staying strong. My parents coming together again gives me hope that everything will turn out right,” she said.

Regina Daniels, who has often spoken affectionately about both parents, painted a picture of their strength and sacrifices despite their past differences. She described her father as a “brilliant lawyer” whose career was cut short by challenges, and her mother, Rita Daniels, as “a powerhouse” who would go to any length for her children.
“They would do anything for us. I’ve always wanted to see them united, and now it’s finally happening,” she added.

The reconciliation comes at a time when Regina’s personal life has drawn public concern. In October, the actress sparked conversations after an emotional video circulated online where she hinted at enduring domestic troubles in her marriage to businessman and politician Ned Nwoko.

She was seen crying and expressing frustration, claiming she felt “trapped” and “voiceless” in her marital home. Nwoko later refuted the allegations, accusing her of substance abuse and insisting she needed rehabilitation.
