Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken publicly about the emotional toll of being separated from her children, describing the experience as one no mother can truly endure.
In a video shared on Instagram late Monday, Daniels appeared on a video call with her two sons, Prince Munir and Prince Khalifa, presenting them with gifts including toys, clothes and shoes. During the call, one of the children pleaded with her to return home, to which she responded softly, assuring them she would see them soon.
Reflecting on the moment, the actress said that despite public assumptions about her wellbeing, the separation from her children has been deeply painful. She explained that choosing to walk away from her marriage did not come easily, but was a decision she made after prolonged emotional strain.

Daniels also addressed her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko’s recent social media posts featuring the children, raising concerns about the intent behind sharing such moments publicly. She suggested that the posts appeared more focused on public perception than genuine parental responsibility.

According to her, she has largely remained silent to avoid media attention, revealing that her last conversation with her children before the recent call was in mid-November. However, she said the growing narrative around her absence compelled her to speak.
The actress reaffirmed her identity and resolve as a mother, stating that no circumstance would keep her away from her children permanently. She expressed confidence that she would reunite with them soon, adding that her love and commitment to them remain unwavering.
