President Muhammadu Buhari to visit Imo State today.
All security eyes are on Imo State today as President Muhammadu Buhari set to visit the Biafran state.
According to reports, there Imo State Police command has given the warning to crush anyone who tries to instigate any form of disruption of law and order in the state today.

Meanwhile, as a form of disapproval of Buhari’s visit to Imo State, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have issued a sit-at-home protest order in Imo and four other southeastern states.
According to PMNews, the pro-Biafra group’s Director of State, Chika Edoziem, announced the protest in a Radio Biafra Broadcast on Wednesday.
He said, “Buhari is not welcome to Imo on Thursday, September 9, 2021.”
He said there would be a “total lockdown of Biafraland” tomorrow.
Edoziem also warn during the broadcast that there will be consequences for Igbo leaders, including traditional rulers, Ohanaeze Ndigbo leaders, women, and youth groups, who dared come out to welcome the President during the visit.

In response to IPOB’s threat, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mike Abattam, said:
“The security arrangements are perfect; the arrangements are maximum. As usual, we prepared to secure the lives and property of the people of the state. We have informed troublemakers to vacate the state because we will deal ruthlessly with anybody who disturbs the peace of the state tomorrow (today) and going forward.”
