Nigerian music star Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, has responded to his twin brother Paul Okoye’s recent remarks regarding their elder brother, Jude Okoye’s legal troubles. Peter made it clear that he has no involvement in Jude’s ongoing legal issues and should not be dragged into the matter.
The controversy began after Paul, also known as Rudeboy, allegedly suggested that Peter shared some responsibility for Jude’s predicament. However, in a swift rebuttal, Peter took to social media to express his displeasure, firmly stating that he has no connection to Jude’s affairs.
“I am not responsible for Jude’s legal troubles, and I will not be held accountable for something I have nothing to do with,” Peter said. “Everyone is responsible for their own actions, and I refuse to be dragged into a situation that does not concern me.”
Although Peter did not disclose details about Jude’s legal case, sources indicate that the issue stems from business dealings that have landed the older Okoye brother in hot water. Jude, a former manager of the now-defunct P-Square duo, has reportedly been facing financial and contractual disputes that have led to legal scrutiny.
This latest development has once again put the Okoye brothers’ strained relationship in the spotlight. The trio, once celebrated for their music and business acumen, has been embroiled in public feuds since P-Square’s infamous split in 2017.
Fans have since taken to social media to react, with many urging the brothers to resolve their differences privately rather than airing their disputes in public. While Paul has yet to respond to Peter’s latest statement, it remains to be seen whether this family rift will deepen or if reconciliation is on the horizon.
