Pep Guardiola Speaks On Bernardo Silva’s Transfer Rumour To Barcelona.

The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has broken the silence about a rumour that is linking Bernardo Silva to Barcelona.

The Spaniard was speaking at a press conference ahead of his club’s game against West Ham United at the London Stadium on August 7th, 2022. Guardiola said he wants Silva to stay at the club but he does not force his will on any player.

I would love for Bernardo to continue, but… I don’t know what will happen. Players sometimes have a desire and I’m not a person to stop a person’s desire. I want Bernardo to stay here, 100%. We will see what happens.

The President of Barcelona, Joan Laporta also spoke about the player but he said the priority of the club as it stands is to register the players that they have signed ahead of the new season.
