PDP, Civil Rights Groups Demand Akpabio’s Resignation Over Sexual Harassment Allegations

 The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and several civil rights organizations have called for the immediate resignation of Senate President Godswill Akpabio following allegations of sexual harassment leveled against him.

The allegations, which have sparked national outrage, have led opposition parties and activists to demand an independent investigation. Despite mounting pressure, Akpabio has denied any wrongdoing, dismissing the accusations as politically motivated.
