The Ooni of Ife, King Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II on Thursday launched an indigenous medicine believed could cure COVID-19.
Ooni teamed up with an Nigerian network marketing company called Organic Remedies “to harnessing the efficacy of our herbs in solving health challenges such as COVID-19 and other related issues,” he said.
Speaking at the event, he talks about the need for Nigerians to embrace traditional herbs said it is “our culture”
The medicine named ‘Verozil’ is “an immune booster under organic remedies that also targets the symptoms of coronavirus alongside other viruses by simply boosting the immune system.”
King Adeyeye also planned to empower 100,000 youths with this product for the next 15 months through the network marketing company.
Traditional herbs are materials of our culture.
