Ooni of Ife Praises President Tinubu’s Economic Reforms, Citing Food Price Reduction

Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms, noting that the initial hardships experienced are beginning to subside. The monarch highlighted a significant reduction in food prices, attributing this positive change to deliberate government interventions. 

He stated, “It was a deliberate attempt by Mr. President to make sure that we bring down food inflation to the bare minimum.”

The Ooni further emphasized sustaining these reforms to ensure long-term economic stability and growth. He called upon Nigerians to support the government’s efforts, expressing confidence that continued policy implementation would yield more substantial benefits for the populace.

In addition to food price reductions, the monarch pointed out improvements in the nation’s investment climate, suggesting that these reforms have made Nigeria more attractive to both local and foreign investors.
