Eze Prince Chidera is a Nigerian gospel singer, rapper, songwriter and poet popularly known as Dera.

The Ebonyi State minister joins the likes of Ty Tribbett using their God-given hip hop music talent to win soul for Christ.

” I am a Christian hip hop artist whose mission is not really for the church, but outside the church, so they can come into the church,” Dera said.

In 2021, Dera debuted with an inspirational song titled ‘My Life’ featuring his music coach, keyboardist and Pastor, Crown Hein. The song tells the tales of his past experiences as a sinner who found Christ.

Bringing it to the future, Dera, 18, is set to release his second single titled ‘Loveable’ on the 20th of August 2021.

When asked what makes ‘Loveable special, he said “Lovable was the first rap song I wrote in 2017. The inspiration behind the song is that Jesus loves everyone irrespective of who you are, what you’ve done or the amount of sins you’ve committed. He’s loving and caring. So, letting the world to know that they can trust Him cause He’s Lovable and not judgemental.”
