Lagos State Government Unveils Winners of Idea Hub 12.0

‎‎Idea Hub 12.0 attracted thousands of applications from across Lagos State, with only 20 high-potential startups competitively selected to participate in the rigorous incubation journey.

The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) has announced the winners of Idea Hub 12.0, an intensive 8-week startup incubation program under the Lagos Innovate initiative. ‎The program concluded with a Demo Day that saw six finalists pitch their innovative solutions to a distinguished panel of judges.

Throughout the program, founders received structured training, mentorship, and comprehensive business support designed to strengthen their products, refine their teams, and enhance market readiness. ‎‎Following the incubation period, 11 startups advanced to the pre-pitch stage, with six finalists ultimately selected to present at the Demo Day.

After careful evaluation, three startups were recognized for their exceptional innovation and potential: ‎‎Winner: Cubeseed Africa (AgriTech), founded by Mbanefo Chinonyelum, Akeem Suara, & Elohor Ebieroma. ‎A trusted marketplace for bulk protein supply, connecting commercial livestock farmers & buyers, with reliable sources, quality, instant payment, and credit access, transforming agricultural commerce.‎‎

1st Runner-Up: Lena (EdTech)‎Founded by Faruk Bilesanmi and Danny Ombeh, Lena offers AI-powered learning games that help kids get 10x better at math and other subjects through engaging, interactive experiences.

‎‎2nd Runner-Up: Prodevs (HR Tech),‎founded by William Nwogbo, represented by Kelvin Ujuagu. ‎A platform streamlining the process of hiring tech talent for growing companies.‎‎ The Demo Day showcased the resilience, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit driving Lagos’ startup ecosystem forward. The event reinforced LSETF’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation, creating jobs, and supporting the next generation of Nigerian entrepreneurs.‎‎”
