French football star Kylian Mbappe has withdrawn his harassment complaint against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), a decision confirmed on July 8, 2025, following mediation efforts.
The 26-year-old, now with Real Madrid after a free transfer in June 2024, had filed the complaint in April 2025, alleging that PSG sidelined him after he declined to extend his contract, which expired that year. Mbappe claimed the club forced him to train with less-favored players, a move he interpreted as punitive, impacting his 2023-2024 season.
PSG refuted the allegations, maintaining that squad management decisions were standard, and the matter was resolved through discussions facilitated by the French Football Federation. The withdrawal suggests a mutual agreement, though no financial settlement details were disclosed. Mbappe, who scored 256 goals in 308 appearances for PSG, expressed a desire to move forward, with the case officially closed by a Paris court.
