The Apex members of the Pan Yoruba Socio-Cultural Group, Yoruba Council Of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) today visited the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa
The Vice President of the Osun State Chapter, Amb. Akintola Israel extolled the virtues of the Council Mayor as one who is Project-oriented, imbued with developmental reforms and a navigator for the generation of the upcoming youths. He affirmed that for visible projects seen so far, the Ibeju Lekki Council Chairman is indeed the Pathfinder for the youths.
The Council Chairman expressed happiness at the honorary visit but quipped that he is not new to progressive politics as he is a firm believer in the ideals of the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while he gave an example of world-class leaders like Lee Kuan Yew who turned the fortunes of Singapore around within a space of time. He thanked the body and assured them of his support as well as lighting the torch of Culture.
A themed frame picture was presented to the Council Chairman.
Members of the body present include Comrade Olatunbosun Olufemi, Director of Student Affairs and Community Development, Comrade Oladeji Michael, PRO, Ogun State, Miss. Awodeyi Elizabeth, Secretary, Ekiti State chapter.
