On Tuesday, officials of the Federal Ministry of Works (FMW) visited the Council Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa to intimates him about ongoing Federal Government projects in Ibeju Lekki.
The same day, the Council Boss inspected an ongoing bridge construction project which will link Ibeju Agbe and Iba Oloja Communities, to be facilitated through a PPP arrangement by Regad Star Properties and PWAN MAX.
On Wednesday, the Council Chairman was at the meeting of conference 57 Chairmen for strategy session on Local Government Administration.
The same day, officials of the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs was at the Secretariat as the Vice Chairman, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji took them round on a project inspection tour.
On Thursday, Hon. Olowa together with the Lagos State Governor, party Chieftains, elder statesmen, welcomed the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr. Muhammadu Buhari to the state for the commissioning of the naval dockyard NNS Oji and the book launch of Chief Bisi Akande titled “My presentations”.
On Friday, the Council boss held a strategy meeting with the management staff of the Local Government Council, amidst other meetings. We equally reported the ongoing road stabilization project at Lakowe enroute to Losoro road.
