I felicitate with the entire Ibeju-Lekki Christain community on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Christmas.
The miraculous birth of Christ Jesus which is celebrated globally on every 25th day of December remains a profound manifestation of God’s love and compassion for mankind.
By this special occasion and the merriments that accompany it, Christians not only celebrate the birth of Christ but also the exemplary life of sacrifice, kindness, fairness, selflessness and love that he lived.
This blessed season, therefore, serves to remind us to continually lead our lives by these ethereal values and wholesome ideals which promote a tranquil world and true brotherhood as taught by Jesus Christ.
As we celebrate and extend love, let us remember to pray for the good of our various communities, our dear state of Lagos, our beloved country and world at large.
We must also bear in mind that Covid-19 scourge is still very rife out there, so I enjoin us to celebrate responsibly by observing the preventive protocols as advised by public health arm of government including getting vaccinated as the Local Government has an adequate arrangement in place to ensure mass vaccination of our people.
Once again, I wish you all a very merry Christmas and pray that the joy of this gracious season abides with us forever. Amen.
