Ibeju Lekki: ILHATA visits Council Chairman, pledges to support the government in tourism.

Members of the Ibeju Lekki Hospitality  And Tourism Association (ILHATA) recently met with the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa while pledging to support the administration in restoring the glory of the Beach to its famous days.

The President of the Association Mr. Adekunle Labia Akowe, appreciated the foresightedness of the Council Chairman towards repositioning the beach for Tourism and Investment, while also thanking him for being impartial by bringing all stakeholders together.


The Council Chairman thanked members of the Association as he shared with them the vision for restoring the beach to its glorious days which includes grading the roads leading to the coastal line, partnering with consultants on making it attractive, involvement of all stakeholders ranging from the community members, traditional heads, members of ILHATA and other stakeholders towards an operation to relaunch Eleko Beach as other virgin beaches like Solu Alade, Debojo will also be considered.


The Council Chairman enlightened members of ILHATA that the sky is large enough to accommodate all shades of birds as the wealth the beaches will create is enough to launch all concerned into financial freedom.

The Council Chairman affirmed that very soon, there will be a sensitization on the attractive nature and investment opportunities the ocean conveys to a community privileged to have it.
