The new week succeeded the All Progressive Congress (APC) convention which was a success as the Council Boss on Monday morning held a strategic meeting with the management staff of the Local Government Council.

Same day, we reported the activities of the street sweepers who were motivated by the Hon. Olowa led administration as their activities on sanitation soared high alongside the Cleaner Ibeju Lekki Initiative team.

On Tuesday, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa joined well wishers across the world to felicitate with the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 70th birth anniversary while wishing him all the good things of life and praying for more wisdoms as he paddles the canoe towards the presidency.

On Wednesday, the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa led the advocacy for a better revenue drive which took him and his team to various markets in the Council Area.

We also reported the Local Government Council medical team which continued on its tour of the administration of the COVID 19 vaccine in the riverine areas of the Local Government.

On Thursday, the Council Chairman met with the management of Pan Atlantic University on the need for partnership for educational boost to students in the Council Area, a move which will further expose students to the brighter side of academics.

On Friday, the official presentation of appointment letter to the Onimedu of Orimedu, Oba Toheeb Isa Oyedele was done by the Council Boss, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa at the Palace.

On Saturday, Hon Olowa wished the Muslim Faithfuls a happy Ramadan period even as they look unto God in deep reflections.

Same day, the Council Chairman together with notable leaders in the Local Government were at the 8th day Fidau prayer of the late community leader at Idado, Alhaji Muyideen Ogungbo to pay their last respects.

Jaja runs an open door administration which has opened the eyes of the citizenry to better governance. You can bet that Ibeju Lekki Local Government is already a yardstick for development.
