The Arewa Community which comprises members of the 19 Northern States were hosted today by the Council Mayor of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa at the Council Secretariat.
Speaking at the event, the Council Boss extolled the virtues of the Arewa Community as peace loving people as he eulogized them for their commercial savviness as the economic development in Ibeju Lekki is on the rise, while also assuring them that it is the beginning of a great synergy and partnership between them and the host communities. The Council Boss sought their help in fishing out criminal elements with negative intentions amongst them that might tend to give the body a bad image.
Reiterating on the need for voter’s card registration, Hon Olowa pleaded with the Arewa body to ensure their folks who are of voting age, get registered as the assurance of victory at the polls is certain for the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He, therefore, called on all present to ensure the divine mandate of the Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is fulfilled.
The ABAT Movement Coordinator, Hon. Semiu Olusola Waliu also spoke extensively on the project and assured the audience that, if Asiwaju Bola Ahmed is given the mandate, the same development being witnessed in Lagos State, will be replicated in all other States.
Alhaji Sa’adu Dandare, the Arewa Community Chairman appreciated the Council Chairman as he assured him of their unalloyed support and promised to unite all fragmented factions of the Arewa Community within the Local Government.
Present at the occasion were, the Leader of the Council, Hon. Mojeed Olayinka, Hon. Raheem Kazeem Adewale represented by Hon. Olamilekan Higara, Onitedo of Oke Odo, Oba Tajudeen Afolabi Elemoro represented by Chief Taofiq, Baale Idiorogbo, Chief Shamsudeen Bello, Management staff of the Council and a host of others.
