It was a groundbreaking event as the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government Hon (Engr) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa today inspected the ongoing bridge construction which will link Iba Oloja community and Ibeju township. 
The Project which is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between Regad Star Properties, PWAN MAX and the Iba Oloja community after completion, will link other communities on the Island.
The Council Chairman who was full of praises for the traditional ruler, Chief Dada Lasisi Olorunjeda, thanked the entire Community who took it upon themselves to carry out the Project.
The Council Boss assured that the Local Government Administration will support in all ways deemed necessary as this will not only speed up the process of development, but also increase commercial activities in the area.
Hon. Olowa however charged the traditional head to ensure that the host community is integrated into the development of the Island by different Private investors as he seized the opportunity to thank the real estate firm, Regad Star Properties and PWAN MAX for their affinity for development as he has always clamoured for Public-Private Partnership arrangements.
The Council boss affirmed that if the project becomes successful, the same model can be replicated in other parts of the Local Government as the Local Government Authorities are also looking at alternative sources of financing projects. Hon. Olowa tasked the real estate firm to engage stakeholders in the course of executing the Project.
Responding, the secretary to the Iba Oloja CDA, Mr. Jabita Adeboye thanked the Council Chairman for the assurance of support as this will bring succour to inhabitants of the community.
Also responding, the  Chief Executive Officer of Regad Star Properties, Captain Okhaishie Callistus was full of praises to the Council Chairman and assured that all the Council Boss noted in the course of their meeting has been put into consideration.
