The Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon (Engr) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa was today at the Eleko Market where he had a chat with the traders on the need to vacate the roadside and move into the already built market stalls for trading.

The Council Chairman while discussing with the traders enlightened them on safety as he told them that it is hazardous selling on the roadside as accidents are inevitable, while also bringing them into the realization of the State Government’s plan to have a rail constructed along the same axis. Besides, as noted by the Council Chairman, Eleko has always been a destination melting point for connecting into Ibeju Lekki as its glorious days must be restored, not leaving out the Central Motor Park which should be a connecting point to all parts of the Country.

To this end, Hon. Olowa craved the indulgence of the traders to move into the already made clams in the market as he assured that he will speak with the developer on the need to stagger the rent payments as the Local Government Council will also play its own role in other areas.
