Headies Postpones 17th Edition Due to Unforeseen Circumstances, Announces New Date

 The organizers of the prestigious Headies Awards have announced the rescheduling of the 17th edition of the event, citing unforeseen circumstances as the reason for the change.

Originally scheduled for April 5, 2025, the highly anticipated music awards ceremony will now take place on April 27, 2025. In a statement released by the organizers, they assured fans and industry stakeholders that the postponement was necessary to ensure a well-executed and memorable event.

“We regret any inconvenience caused by this rescheduling, but we are committed to delivering an unforgettable experience,” the statement read.

The upcoming edition marks the return of the Headies to Nigeria after being hosted in the United States for two consecutive years. With top artists like Rema, Tems, Ayra Starr, and Odumodublvck leading the nominations, the event is expected to be one of the biggest nights in African music.
