As part of his campaign promise to introduce a “Happy Hour” initiative, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has announced plans to reward outstanding civil servants and support local entrepreneurs through a financial empowerment program.

The event, titled “ARISE Happy Hour and Evening of Rewards,” is scheduled for Thursday, February 6, 2025, and will recognize the best-performing civil servants across ministries, departments, and agencies with ₦1 million each.
