The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Administration has entered into a strategic partnership with the Italian government to enhance vocational training and agricultural development within the territory. This collaboration aims to bolster economic growth, create employment opportunities, and improve food security in the region.

Italy will provide technical assistance to establish and upgrade vocational training centers in the FCT. These centers will offer courses in various trades, equipping residents with skills that meet the demands of the local and international job markets.

The partnership seeks to introduce modern farming techniques, improve irrigation systems, and promote sustainable agricultural practices. Italian experts will work closely with local farmers to increase crop yields and diversify agricultural production.

There will be programs aimed at enhancing the capabilities of FCT officials and stakeholders involved in vocational training and agriculture. This includes workshops, seminars, and exchange programs to share best practices.

The success of this partnership relies on active participation from various stakeholders, including engaging community members to ensure that the programs address their specific needs and that they take ownership of the initiatives.
