Reports have it that the Managing Director of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Adam Nuru caught in the middle of paternity scandal has embarked on a mandatory leave.
Adam Nuru is in the middle of an allegation of marital infidelity which involved him and a former FCMB staff, Moyo Lawal and resulted in the later estranged husband death.
RainSMediaRadio reported FCMB MD, Adam Nuru allegedly fathered two children of Moyo while in marriage with estranged husband, Tunde Thomas. Upon discovery that his supposedly two children are not his, Tunde Thomas died on December 16, 2020, from a heart attack after battling with depression.
According to a report by the deceased’s friends, Moyo had resigned from FCMB and travelled to the US with the two children, and thereafter informed Tunde that he was not the biological father of the children.
Nigerians on Twitter could not stomach the story took to change.org to file a petition for FCMB and CBN to Adam Nuru sack Adam Nuru. The garnered over 1000 signatures in less than 24 hours.

According to LIB, in an internal mail sent to all workers on Tuesday, January 5, Nuru announced his plans to embark on leave immediately to allow the board to carry out an independent review of the circumstances surrounding the reports.
