Nigerian music producer Don Jazzy has said that getting back together with his ex-wife, Michelle Jackson, is no longer an option because she has remarried. He made the statement during an interactive session with fans on the social platform X after a user posted their old wedding photo and urged the pair to reconcile.
The producer, who first revealed in 2021 that he had been married at age 20, responded to the fan with a brief message: “She don remarry.” The reply confirmed that Michelle, whom he married more than two decades ago, has moved forward with her life.
Don Jazzy and Michelle were married for two years before their relationship ended. At the time, he said his deep focus on music played a major role in the separation.

The renewed attention on his past marriage began after the nostalgic photo resurfaced online. Don Jazzy’s direct answer quickly gained traction, as many fans had linked the pair’s recent friendly interactions, including a public meet-up in Lagos, to possible reconciliation.
His comment also follows earlier explanations he gave in 2024 about why he has not remarried. He said then that he was taking time to work on himself and wanted to be in a better personal state before considering another long-term relationship.

The conversation highlights the longstanding public interest in the personal lives of the industry’s biggest figures. Don Jazzy’s marriage story has remained a reference point for many, partly because he rarely shares such private details.

Following his recent comment, fans reacted with mixed emotions, with many wishing him well as he continues focusing on personal development. Others revisited his earlier reflections, where he said he hoped to become a better partner in the future.
Don Jazzy, now 43, has played a major role in shaping the Nigerian music scene. He co-founded Mo’ Hits Records with D’banj in 2004 and later established Mavin Records in 2012, which has produced some of the country’s most successful artists.
His openness about past mistakes and personal growth continues to draw public interest, especially as he remains active in nurturing new talent. Despite the conversations around his former marriage, he maintains that his focus remains on his work and improving himself.
