Nigeria superstar Disk Jockey and billionaire daughter, Dj Cuppy surprise Nigerians with an album!
Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola is one of the artists in Nigeria I can say boldly, has received more backlash from critics in Nigeria than any other. Not because she is female No! But due to the fact that her father is a billionaire and that comes with a saying ‘her father has enough money to buy the industry to sway to her favour’ just like Davido was not taken seriously when he dropped his first single because he is a billionaire son but proved himself worthy. Likewise, Dj Cuppy has exonerated herself! ‘ORIGINAL COPY’ WILL BE LISTED AS TOP 5 BEST ALBUM RELEASED IN 2020! Take it or leave.
On the album, Cuppy featured notable names like Wyclef Jean, Efya from Ghana, Rema, Rayvanny, Fireboy DML, Stonebwoy, Nonso Amadi, Teni, Ms Banks from the UK, Ycee, Sheyi Shay; And my favourite track on the album titled 54, the Cupcake besotted Dj hired the services of Sir Shina Peters and Julian Marley and they killed the song.
Although, the album did not really get the hype and love it deserve from most Nigerians yet at least nobody sees Dj Cuppy as that wannabe artist anymore.
Believe me, ‘Original Copy’ the album is worth all the effort Dj Cuppy put into the project and off course it is worth all the cash spent as well Lol!
