The original animated film grossed over $687 million worldwide, earned multiple award nominations, and featured the hit song “How Far I’ll Go.”

The trailer showcases sweeping visuals of Motunui, the Kakamora tribe, and the return of the shape-shifting demigod Maui, played by Dwayne Johnson, who reprises his role from the animated film.
