Democratic lawmakers in the United States have released a new set of photographs recovered from the estate of the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, showing former and current political leaders, business executives, and cultural figures in his company.
The images, published on Friday by members of the House Oversight Committee, include photos of US President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton. Other individuals appearing in the collection include former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, ex–Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, filmmaker Woody Allen, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, and Britain’s former Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Lawmakers said the photographs raise further questions about Epstein’s extensive ties to powerful figures, even though the images themselves do not appear to show any criminal activity and are largely undated.

Democrats described the photos as “disturbing,” arguing that they highlight the scale of Epstein’s access to elite social and political circles. They said the release was intended to add transparency as pressure mounts for the full disclosure of federal records related to Epstein’s activities.
The White House dismissed the move, accusing Democrats of selectively releasing materials to create a misleading narrative around President Trump. A spokesperson said allegations linking Trump to wrongdoing connected to Epstein had been repeatedly debunked.
Trump Criticizes Supporters Amid Escalating Epstein Controversy
Trump, speaking to reporters at the White House, downplayed the significance of the photos, saying Epstein was a well-known figure in Palm Beach and that many people had interacted with him socially. He said he had not seen the images prior to their release and denied any improper involvement.
Among the 19 images released, three feature Trump. One shows him standing beside several women wearing leis, with faces redacted. Another captures Trump speaking with Epstein nearby, while a third shows him seated next to a woman whose identity is obscured.
Former President Clinton is also pictured alongside Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking-related crimes.

Additional images from the cache include personal items found at Epstein’s residence, including sexually explicit objects and novelty items referencing Trump.
The photo release comes ahead of a congressional deadline requiring the US Department of Justice to release documents from its investigation into Epstein by December 19. Lawmakers passed legislation compelling the disclosure after months of resistance from the Trump administration, citing public interest and accountability.
Epstein was convicted in Florida in 2008 on sex-related charges involving a minor and later arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges. He died in custody that same year in what authorities ruled a suicide.
While Trump and his allies previously accused Democrats of shielding influential figures connected to Epstein, renewed scrutiny has emerged over Trump’s past social relationship with the financier as additional materials become public.
How much of the government’s Epstein files will ultimately be released remains uncertain, with officials expected to cite privacy and ongoing investigative concerns.
