Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. Earns Portugal Under-15 National Team Call-Up

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the 14-year-old son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, was selected for Portugal’s Under-15 national team for an upcoming training camp and friendly matches. 

The call-up, announced by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), marks a significant milestone for the teenager, who plays as a forward for Al-Nassr’s youth academy in Saudi Arabia, where his father captains the senior team. Ronaldo Jr.’s inclusion reflects his growing reputation as a promising talent, following in the footsteps of his father, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Born in June 2010, Ronaldo Jr. has trained at elite academies, including Real Madrid and Juventus, before joining Al-Nassr in 2023. Scouts praise his pace, finishing, and work ethic, attributes reminiscent of his father’s early career. The FPF’s U-15 program, which includes 24 players for the 2025 camp, aims to prepare prospects for international tournaments like the UEFA Youth League.
