COVID-19: 43 clubbers arrested and clubs shutdown by Lagos Police Command.


In the late hours of Sunday night, Lagos State police command raided two clubs in Lagos, arrested the clubbers and shut down the clubs.

According to reports, forty-three clubbers including strippers were arrested at Eclipse Night Club, Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island for violating COVID 19 rules.
According to LIB, in a statement released by the police spokesperson, SP CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said police operatives attached to Maroko Division of the state, on the order of the Commissioner of Police,  CP Hakeem Odumosu, went after the deviant clubbers and got them arrested for clubbing without any regard for the COVID-19 protocols. 

He also said that the state commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, also ordered that those arrested should be moved to Taskforce office for prosecution. CP Odumosu also ordered that club owner should not be spared as they disregard the state COVID 19 protocols, Adejobi added.
