Bayer Leverkusen’s European journey came to an end as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich, resulting in a 5-0 aggregate loss in the Champions League Round of 16.

Nigerian forward Victor Boniface and English winger Nathan Tella were unable to prevent their team’s exit against the formidable Bavarian side.

Bayern Munich showcased their dominance, with Harry Kane making history as the first Englishman to score ten goals in a single Champions League season. Leverkusen struggled to penetrate Bayern’s defense, and despite efforts from Boniface and Tella, they couldn’t alter the outcome.
