Akwa Ibom APC Elders and Senator Akpabio Clash Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

 Tensions have escalated within the Akwa Ibom chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as party elders accuse Senator Godswill Akpabio of engaging in activities detrimental to the party’s cohesion. The elders allege that Akpabio’s actions have undermined party unity and electoral prospects in the state.

In response, Senator Akpabio refuted the allegations, asserting his unwavering commitment to the APC’s ideals and success. He called for internal mechanisms to address grievances and promote reconciliation, emphasizing that unity is essential for the party’s strength and effectiveness.​
