The tournament, which kicks off on December 21, will be played across multiple venues in Morocco, with CAF saying the restrictions are part of broader efforts to ensure safety, order and smooth match-day operations throughout the competition.
CAF said all spectators will undergo security screening at stadium entry points and advised fans to avoid bringing restricted items to prevent delays, confiscation, or denial of access on match days.

The football body noted that prohibited items will not be allowed into stadiums under any circumstances, stressing that enforcement will be uniform across all host venues.
CAF also warned that fans found with banned items may be turned back at security checkpoints, regardless of ticket status.
CAF advised fans to leave the following items at home when attending matches:
The football governing body urged supporters to cooperate with stadium officials and security personnel, adding that adherence to the rules will help create a safer and more enjoyable tournament atmosphere.
AFCON 2025 is expected to attract thousands of travelling fans from across the continent and beyond, with Morocco hosting the tournament for the first time since 1988.
