The incident, which occurred on March 29, 2025, involved the brutal murder of travelers returning from Port Harcourt.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf lauded the immediate actions taken by both federal and state authorities, including the dispatch of delegations to Kano to commiserate with the bereaved families and the initiation of thorough investigations to apprehend and prosecute those responsible.
