Popular comedian Aloma Isaac, aka Zicsaloma, broke hearts across Nigeria this week with a devastating accusation against Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).

In a series of emotional social media posts, he claimed LUTH’s medical negligence worsened his cancer-stricken mother’s condition due to delayed treatment, leaving her fighting for her life.

Zicsaloma didn’t hold back, saying, “She’s dying,” as he demanded accountability and better care from the hospital. He detailed how his mother, undergoing chemotherapy, was allegedly denied timely treatment, pushing her health to the brink.

The posts, seen by his 1.5 million Instagram followers, went viral, reigniting frustration with Nigeria’s struggling healthcare system. With only 3,000 hospitals for 220 million people and 70% of Nigerians reporting poor medical access, this hits hard. LUTH hasn’t issued a statement, leaving fans praying for Zicsaloma’s mother and calling for reform.
