The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his administration’s strides in infrastructure, education, and social welfare, describing the efforts as transformative for Kano State.
During a courtesy visit to the Government House in Kano, Emir Sanusi acknowledged the governor’s dedication to improving the lives of Kano residents, particularly through policies aimed at revamping public education, healthcare, and urban development.
"I must commend Governor Abba Yusuf for his clear commitment to advancing the welfare of the people of Kano. The reforms and development projects initiated under his leadership are evident, and they reflect a government that prioritizes the needs of its citizens,” the Emir stated.
He particularly praised the administration’s ongoing efforts to restore and upgrade critical public infrastructure, including road networks, schools, and healthcare facilities. “A progressive society is built on a strong educational foundation, and the governor’s investment in this sector is commendable,” he added.
Governor Yusuf, in his response, expressed appreciation for the Emir’s visit and reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring sustainable development in Kano. He emphasized that his government remains focused on fulfilling its promises, especially in sectors that directly impact the common people.
