Tantita Security Services, a company linked to ex-militant leader Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has unveiled a state-of-the-art 250-seater Computer-Based Test (CBT) center for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The new facility, located in Delta State, is expected to improve the efficiency of JAMB examinations, providing candidates with a more conducive and technologically advanced environment to take their tests. The initiative is part of Tompolo’s broader efforts to contribute to educational development in the Niger Delta region.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, representatives of Tantita Security Services emphasized the importance of education in addressing socio-economic challenges in the region. They highlighted that the CBT center was built to ease the burden on candidates, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds who struggle to access well-equipped examination centers.
Education stakeholders have praised the initiative, noting that private-sector involvement in education can significantly enhance the learning experience for Nigerian students. The facility will officially commence operations in the next JAMB examination cycle.
