Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has backed Kylian Mbappe to reach legendary status at the club, likening his potential impact to that of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The French forward, who joined Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, has already made a strong impression, scoring 33 goals in his debut season at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Ancelotti, speaking in a recent press conference, praised Mbappe’s work ethic, skill, and goal-scoring ability, highlighting his importance to the team.

“Mbappe has all the qualities to become a Real Madrid legend, just like Cristiano Ronaldo did. He is a special player with incredible talent, and he has already shown what he can do,” Ancelotti said.

Ronaldo, who played for Real Madrid between 2009 and 2018, remains one of the greatest players in the club’s history, winning multiple La Liga and Champions League titles while setting numerous goal-scoring records. Mbappe has drawn comparisons to the Portuguese icon due to his speed, technical ability, and finishing prowess.

As Real Madrid pushes for another La Liga and Champions League triumph, Mbappe’s role will be crucial in their campaign. Fans and analysts alike are eager to see whether he can follow in Ronaldo’s footsteps and establish himself as one of the club’s greatest players.
