In a significant development just weeks before the start of his highly anticipated sex-trafficking trial, Sean "Diddy" Combs has seen a key member of his defense team withdraw from the case. Attorney Anthony Ricco has filed a motion to withdraw, citing undisclosed reasons that prevent him from continuing his representation.

Ricco's motion, filed with the court, states that "under no circumstances can I continue to effectively serve as counsel" for Combs. He cited "sufficient reasons" for his departure but remained tight-lipped about specifics, invoking attorney-client privilege. Importantly, Ricco clarified that his withdrawal would not cause a delay in the trial proceedings, which are scheduled to commence in May.
