What do you think of stiletto Crocs?

Balenciaga and Crocs collaborated to make Crocs catch up with the Stilettos and boots fashion trend by adding high heels to Crocs as Balenciaga spring 2022 collections. 

Considering the fact that many people wear Crocs for different reasons not because it looks gorgeous maybe for it is comfortable to wear to sleep, in the bathroom, for biking and hiking and among others. 

To imagine Crocs now comes with knee-high boots and stiletto clogs in green and black, well that's some out of this world imagination there. 

According to Complex, the Creative Director of Balenciaga told the French Vogue in 2017 “We were inspired by Crocs and we worked with them on a Balenciaga reinterpretation. Balenciaga x Crocs isn’t impossible, the question of taste is a very subjective value. We’ll see if this works in six months in the stores,” calling the clogs the “world’s comfiest shoes.”

Complex also reported Crocs and Balenciaga first collaboration which brought into existence Crocs platform clogs cross into the luxury sphere and it was sold at $850 and got sold out before it arrivals in stores. 

According to CNN, stiletto clogs and boot may be sold for $1000. Can it actually fly for that price? I guess it is too soon to jump to a conclusion after all Demna Gsavali once told the French  Vogue, "Fashion to me is a mirror, a reflection of what’s going on around us. This is manifested in the collections. Daily life is what speaks to people, everyday life. They are Balenciaga archives transposed from the 1950s to today, adapted to 2018, 2019, to the future.”

So Balenciaga and Crocs stilettos clogs and knee-high boot might just be the future of shoes in fashion. You never know.

Although, on Social media, many find the new Crocs high heel bizarre as they imagine wearing it to a club to be hilarious.
